Your tags(and one banner), while I can see effort, seem thrown together. There's little organization, and the effects seem random. I think it would benefit you to take a moment and plan what you're going to do before you whip out a tag. I can see you getting a lot better with time and practise.

EDIT: You should also look into some text tutorials, text can make or break a tag.
