Well..green is the colour for go. A positive colour. And the texture just looked nice. Sometimes you just have to do stuff cause it looks teh shit!

OH and its a TYPEFACE! A font is the digital package itself. The file. The typeface is what's inside it and on the design:P

I love what it says, in both literal, and visual, I only have a few things to build on.

The green, yes it is "go" and a positive color, but it is also about nature, and this statement isn't so much about nature. I would have gone more with a muted green if you really wanted to use green, or a brown. Nice and warm, and then this would look like a poster with the font and stylize header/footer. Also, I really think you should have had the words "defeat is impossible" emphasized more. It seems to be a fairly major part of this.
