As takken said, you need to work on your backgrounds, mainly because they looks brush spammed, and that just looks bad, so just get at those backgrounds. Follow some tutorials and enjoy yourself while doing graphics ;D

I like the second one a lot! The render seems to be cut out a bit better and the purple hue really complements the render and the background.

Only thing is, at the bottom left the background seems a little sharp compared to the rest.
