had a photosshoot with my friend. She wants to get into fashion. My boss was cool enough to let me borrow her studio for the shoot. Let me know what you guys think.

Don't like it all that much. Needs better poses and lighting, etc. Also, the model herself isn't necessarily all that suited for it in this particular shoot. No offense, but all around amateurish, not saying that I'm a pro at it though.

Well I would focus on her face, that's the best aspect she's got going for her. Though the first two pictures make her look bad, she doesn't need heavy eyeshadow makeup. If you're going to photograph anything other than her face, try and find poses that don't make her arms look thin, because she probably has nicely toned arms, it's just hard to see in those poses.

I like the last shot because in my opinion her face is the best part.

The first picture is awful. Why put her in that stance? She looks mental. Plus, it also makes one think that her next step would cause her to fall since her legs are twisted for no reason.

Other then that, good stuff. Pretty girl.

Firstly, the whole idea of there being a paper roll is so that you can hide everything but the model, including the floor...

I'm gonna go through this shot by shot to explain myself better.

#1 - Total write-off. She's nowhere even near in the frame properly, she looks like she's gurning, her body is wracked, and her feet are grey from the really odd post edit you've done on it.

#2 - The pose is ok, but you should be higher up looking slightly down to accentuate her head and shoulders rather than her waist. You should have told the model to smile and again, the post edit is not flattering but that could be because the actual image is over exposed.

#3 - This is actually really nice. The floor works in this one and although all the blacks are purple, it doesn't look completely outlandish. The model's feet are still a strange colour though, remember to selectively edit. The position and pose of the model is natural and suits her well and your composition of the shot is strong.

#4 - This is really unflattering to the poor girl... Around her mouth looks brown and it's blatently obvious where you've liquified or whatever you did on her arms. Not to mention you've cloned out whatever it is on her forehead you didn't like and yet left her stubbly armpits and porous neck untouched.

    What Eleventee said.

Have I mentioned the girl is attractive?

tbh mate I've seen better from you, postwork is mostly really bad in all of them, especially the use of the clone tool in tge last one. Third is best, nice pose and your use of the floor works well. although the rest aren't very good, sorry man
