The only thing is, you don't really seem to have much direction/flow, everything is kind of all over. The branches coming off your focal sort of start some flow, but it gets lost amid the bg, and the other branches. Like your BG, but yeah it really feels like it needs some more color, regardless of whether it was intentional or not.
