When you make a signature,you're not really suppose to be trying to paint a picture out of other pictures,but simply to express abstract or increase dramatic feel to an image in small rectangle form (Usually),and will be able to be used in a user's post,separate at the bottom.

Necreothalass thats usually not the case but you can paint a picture only if it is executed properly.
However with most sigs, or even art in general, you want a concept. The concept usually revolves around a focal which really puts together the piece in general.

some one used alot of the brush tool
