The cuts around the hat and the hoof are a bit choppy but other than that good job.

Oh your right, i was kinda in a rush didnt take a 2nd look at things. This isnt the actuall finalized version just the 1st draft.

I used Photoshop, Cs2.

lasso tool?
or pen tool?

The I suggest you use pen tool instead. Gives much cleaner edges.
