    Just from the minimal amount of research I've done, interlace for larger images and not for smaller, I don't know why, I as just told that a while ago. Actually going to research it a bit.

    Scratch that, after very little research it seems that interlacing was useful for crappy monitors and horrible connections, but there's really no use for it nowadays.
