Default so this is my very first vector..

I know it sucks and there's nothing much to comment about it,I just thought I'd put it up since it's my first.
I hope to get better at this.

Very good start imo, and always best to start out with shapes your comfortable with.

IMO shadowing done well, like the colours you used, there is one thing I would liek to point out about the eye tho and that is you never really see the full ( i think it's called iris) the blue circle anyways, usually the top crease and the bottom are well under the litds, unless ofc its a "shock scare face" in which case the lids arn't showing that expression so much as a relax look, so just hide the iris more

Good start tho and congrats or trying new

    Radi's one of a kind gift <3

I am glad to see so many people exploring mediums and art away from tags.

It is looking good for a first time, and I want to give tips more on the eye itself, rather than technique.

The iris and pupil should be round. When you use the ellipsis tool, hold shift and it will create a perfectly round circle. The size of the pupil is quite large, and the only times that happens is under low light, or under the influence, causing them to dilate. I like how you have it lighter in the centre of the iris, and darker towards the edge, but the solid stroke of black is wrong. Yes, iris' do have black on the edge, but it will fad to black, not a solid line, so if you continue your gradient from light blue, to dark blue, then to black, and have the dark blue and black close together, it will achieve a better look.

On the right side of this eye, which is the side that is close to the bridge of the nose, should be a light pink section for the tear duct Also, the shadowing should be darkest along the top of the sclera, and lighter on the bottom.

Also, for the highlight, the cornea is convex, so, even a round light source will be more elliptical, stretched perpendicular to the centre of the eye.

Commissions and stickers available via linktree here.
