    Default Painting Warm Up - Blink

    30 minute warm up, playing with skin, skin tones, flesh, etc. Usually don't post stuff like this, but think it turned out aight.

    very nice for 30minutes i think you could do better but thats obviously when you spend hours on it, still better than what i would do if i get a tablet

    Thanks mate, yeah warm ups are quick usually the brush strokes are defined and fairly visible, don't have much time to really blend or detail too much. As I mentioned usually I don't post this kind of stuff, but I liked how fleshy this one turned out.

    We obviously know you can do much better, but again it's your warm up and it's awesome for 30 minutes !

    Your detail on the skin and eyes is always amazing, they look almost real. Fancy =D

    Blah. Well realism takes special talent. If you want this new stuff that looks like a finger painting painted by toes, people can do that without any special talent. I can even do that =D

    Lol, nah, I just enjoy seeing the brush strokes in paintings, would still have a sense of realism just would feel more painterly; I may have been mistaken in that regard in my last post, I don't want to abandon it altogether.

    I've also been attempting to paint more in a Pixar style, but I haven't been able to really get anywhere with it yet. I'm about half way through one of my paintings in which I've been looking forward to posting for forever, but it has been taking me longer than forever to finish it seems. :]
