Tech Dragon Tutorial - My Outcome - First Real Blending Attempt

So here's the final outcome from the tech dragon tutorial.. Any critiques to help me understand the concept of blending? *not on the text though because I need to learn blending in sigs first.. I'll be following some text tutorials after I get somewhat decent at sig creations.*



With more saturation:



*Got bored, so I re-colored it.. Did I ruin it by going overboard??
(I also smoothed it out some.. Originals appeared grainy to me after looking at them again)

Nothing a little clipping mask can't fix, xD. It looks really nice. Maybe add a bit more vibrance/saturation, cause the colors are a bit boring.

I had it saturated a good bit, but I toned it down.. Posting the more saturated one now..

I'm liking the re-colored one, just feel it could use a stronger difference in light and dark spots

You should get rid of that c4d at the bottom

Hmm.. C4D at the top too, just not as noticeable.. But yeah, I see what you mean.. I originally created it huge as a wallpaper and made it into a sig.. I'ma hafta do a lot more work to remove it from the bottom.. Maybe I'll do that

*.Stuuuuu: You mean use the burn tool to enhance the shadows in just the right areas, and the dodge tool for the highlights?
