the colour in it is too subdued

almost looks as if u added a black layer at like 15% opacity

I like the colours and placement but its just too dark

I do like the color scheme and concept you have in this piece but it lacks execution.
First off, I'd move the weak light source in the middle to a different direction.

By adding it there, it becomes a distraction.
Second off is the weak colors you've used. Again, the color scheme is good but the current colors here are washed out and boring. Try using a few adjustments to help you out with that.

Another thing here is your patterns you have on the side. Neat type of oriental concept you have here but again, the execution could have been better. I believe that you should try a more bigger variety of patterns that flow together well. Just to get the wow factor.

I'd probably work with a bigger canvas and don't darken things too much because this type of style doesn't require strong lighting.

    Keep it up!

v2 has some weird stuff on color dodge or something in their faces
its also hard to pull a double focal tag so try to work with 1 focal only.
text needs to go or be reworked
bg is interesting but kinda random, borders r okay
    keep it up
