Well I like how since this is your first LP you kept it simple and didn't try to go all out. It's always good to never go in over your head because when you do something and it's wrong or badly done going back to square one can be a pain.

However in this picture I can see that you added a background texture, a gradient map or two set on a light opacity and a fractal bubble or two around the hand area. It doesn't look bad but it does look a bit saturated, remember that if you want to give manipulations a realistic feel to them it's always best to either mess with the atmosphere of the picture or the overall color but never make the colors look freaky because everyone will automatically think that it is photoshopped.

The trick to making realistic effects on a piece is to keep it simple and very HQ (High Quality), you got the simple part down but the saturation kind of makes one wonder what she would look like with regular colors instead of looking yellowish.
