Once you figure out what is going on in the picture it looks rather good, like the idea.

Try using a variety of colors next time so it won't look monotone, like this it'll be easier to tell what is going on in the piece. Also remember to keep your shadows in mind, it'll give a realistic piece like this one a very nice touch.
