Outgoing Links in Deviantart

Deviantart started becoming very strict and gay lately imo. They dont allow most of the outgoing links to gfx forums. It annoys me alot. Whats the purpose of this?

Are you talking about when you link in a description or journal to another website? There have been a lot of reports lately of outgoing links to pornographic material, or illegal software, and as a precautionary measure, they limit it over all.

yes. they blocked lots of gfx sites, rapidshare and some more. Imo they limited it too much.

I think banning the outgoing link to Rapidshare is fair, you just don't know what your downloading, anything of profound nature (porn), viruses or anything that causes malfunction could be in that file. That might be one of the reasons.
