The first one looks like it could be related to a Marvel comic, lmao.
But yes, as the post above said, you should add some variation to smudging, if you aim to only smudge on some pictures, it really makes the difference. Lighting isn't so great in my opinion either, you might want to fix that with a few adjustment layers (or more) or possibly just add a light source
