my 'power project':

Here I just made the basic text from some lines, as you see the 'r' isn't finished when I saved this.

Right here I'm basically making the letter 3D, which really was ALOT of work to do in Photoshop without it's 3D' options. I took the pic again before the R was finished.

I wanted to get a bit of a techno feel to it, so I made little connection blocks between the gaps in the letters.

In this screenie I basically 'turned off the light' and made the letters darker too. ohw yeah xD I added some colors to the connection blocks.

The final product so far. I hope you'll have comments telling me what I did wrong- or what I did well. Anything is appreciated, I still want to change things up to like wip 3 or 4.

I love it, I wish I could figure out how to throw textures like the stars into C4D, but I really like the image alot. I need to find a tutorial for this kind of stuff.

But I think when you are talking about a tutorial you mean in Cinema 4D xD but this was created in PS. The screenies are of .PSD files I saved during the making of this... thingy

Ohhh I see, I didn't see the outside or like the tools panel so I figured it was already exported. Are there any tutorials for this style that you know of, and have on hand?

euhm this was based on an artpiece actually, but I saw it in a magazine, so I can't really get it now. :\
I think you'll be good if you just search for tuts on Photoshop with 3D.

and I think schultz on this forum had some experience with C4D, he taught me some stuffs about it xD

AI would of been better for this.. It has 3D and works in vector so is fully resizeable.
Great work though.. has a kind of Tron feeling in the last pic.
