1) Rise of the Planet of the Apes! - I effing loved this movie so much! The CGI was amazing, but what a great start to the reboot of an already awesome movie franchise. I'm so excited for the next one!!!

2) Super 8 - I have to admit that I expected more from this movie, but nevertheless it was still great. Although it was directed by JJ Abrahms, you can still sense Spielberg in there! However, the over-used lense flares really annoyed me -_- They fit perfectly in Star Trek, but he didn't even get the lighting right in this one.

3) Cowboys & Aliens - This movie completely took me by surprise. Ever since his first hit in Casino Royale I never took a liking to Daniel Craig, but his performance in this movie was great (most likely because of the lack of dialogue) From the first teaser trailer, this movie looked rubbish to me because the plot just seemed pointless, but when I eventually saw the movie it made perfect sense and also added a certain twist that you don't see in many sci-fi movies these days.

4) Horrible Bosses - This is the funniest movie I've seen a quite some time. The cast fit their roles perfectly, as did their comedic material. Never seen a story-line like this before which is obviously a good thing too.

5) Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - I've always been a huge HP fan ever since the beginning, so the reason I put this one last is because I had already read the book... I was very dissapointed in how much detail was put into these films. The reason is because the last HP book was one of the best books I've ever read (I strongly recommend reading it if you haven't already). But even though it could have been better, I don't think anyone else could have captured the finale more effectively than David Yates.

More that I liked...
Kung Fu Panda 2 (Not as good as the first one)
Hannah (AWESOME)
X-Men First Class
Transformers - The Dark of the Moon
