    Default Hey .... :D

Hi there guys. I'm holyhades666, some people may know me as aa0007 or va023 ... both are usernames that I've used in the past ... anyways, a little about me.

I'm an aspiring graphics artist with a little bit of self taught experience. I started off with gimp nearly 4 years ago, doing very simple text slapping ... hell, I even messed with aspect resolution, determined to make my image fit into my canvas no matter what the difference between them was. Then, I started reading up on some tutorials, and I started getting slightly better at gimp. I started to figure out how to do various effects, and I was doing somewhat okay for that time ... although, in heinsight ... I feel like I was a 2 year old back then. Anyways, then I moved on to bigger and better things ... photoshop. While some may argue that it isn't as good as gimp, I personally consider it much more user friendly, which is exactly what someone who didn't have any classes whatsoever needs. So I became somewhat proficient over the years with photoshop, and I began designing sigs and avatars for a game I used to play, from where I was referred to this forum ... take a look at my latest piece

Anyways, I hope I'll have a great time here on gfxvoid, I certainly hope to learn a lot, and if possible, teach others as well. After all ... *breaks into high school musical ...* we're all in this together! (first and last hsm reference, I promise).

Gimp better than Photoshop? I thought I'd never hear the day .
Welcome to the forums, you've got a decent sig, shows promise, shows you know a thing or two, or a few.

Going through tutorials and getting inspiration from sigs on this forum will get you far, feel free to message me/post on forums if you need anything .
