After Effects Animated Gif Help

Hi there, I am looking for some help on deleting the background of an animated Gif for a banner I am making;I knew how to do it once.. I forget if its changing the blending mode somehow or adding a ramp or something. I forget. And I know whoever showed me a long time ago didn't use the eraser tool at all.I swear i'm searching google high and low and can't find anythign either lol.I'd even give you a few $ in paypal if you could help. i dont use after effects at all man but i know from using c4d it has to do with the alpha channel when rendering it i read in AE it is either completely opaque or completely transparent so mess with the alpha channel if you can i hope this helps ya man

yeah It's to do with adding an alpha chanel to the white bg. havent used AE in ages.

Hm you can also animate easily frame by frame ( or something liek that ) in ps cs5
