CBR is a far more better choice becuase of this. All croctch rockets are painful after an hour ride, but CBR has a much genteler slope into your junck pack, so your back doesn't feel the presure so much. The kick also is a lot smoother and is compairable to r1. Also more width for you and a partner to ride on then an r1/6.. Been a rider on both as rider and passenger and the R's have such narrow seating it's fuckin annoying, and ofc hard to adjust wile at 140.
The back end of r's looks freakin sexy as hell, but again that high end can make you feel even more that tip forward, that might make some uncomfortable.

I was a 5 yr rider, and although I would have loved to have owned R1 , it would have only been for looks, because other then that it's a waste of cash imo.

My 5 yr riding and i owned a nija and cbr. ninja frickin sucks between changing gears imo, bacvk kick back and slow to the rise. Also thye always had horrible colours. CBR is deff where my riding soul lies. If I could go back today and buy any bike, it would be a CBR Looks and performence it withstands imo.

But who am I to say shit.... If your a tiny little dude who never intends to take on a passenger and enjoys feeling after 60 that you might fall head first over your bike, but fuck, youll look good doing it, then R is your baby :P

Oh almost forgot to mention how close R's mufflers are to your ass ( right under actually)and it does get pretty frickin hot after 20 min of high speed and summer heat.
I love ninja's. I had a Green 250R as my first bike. Then I moved up to a Ninja 650R, good for cruising and commuting but I wanted something more sporty and more power. I'm not much for taking passengers though , thats why i love bikes, its just you and the machine.
The R1 looks sexy as hell, but i heard the riding position isnt very comfy. The CBR might be a better choice then, The CBR1000RR repsol edition looks great too. Heres the pics of the bikes:

    CBR

heres the R1, mines the same, just its blue and White instead of Red

Two friends one year died, one because of a car not seeing him in a blind spot sent him into the concrete guard rail, the other was going too fast around a turn and his bad fortune smashed into a wooden poll head on, dead on impact, then my b/f at the time took my bike out to the store, smashed it into the side of our garage and I couldn't afford at the time to repair.
Both drivers were years better drivers then me, and one had been riding 10yrs+

By the following bike year I just decided two funerals and insurence too pricey of a price to pay.
Really sad too because my buddy who bangged into the poll was to be married 30 days after the accident.

lol thanks bog for your nicely put comments :P
