Ummm... I am newnie so here it goes: When I do the white line at start on black background it becomes gray.. and when on red background it comes pink... can someone tell me what setting I have to take away so it doesnt blend the colors? :/

ITs probably because your brush opacity is too low...
fix it:

i have only photoshop 5...
but i think its in the same place for PS7 and CS..

No filters? >< Wow. Thanks for helping dark.... And the layout did change in 7 and CS (I only have CS, not CS2) the opacity is at the top, with a dropdown slider. Right?&#33; Right. Sorry for not responding sooner, I was busy >< Hmmmm.... we went from 61 readers to 25.... But thats still good. I&#39;ll be thinking about a new tutorial....

anyway,
the only problem with the tut is that it ends up exactly the same every time.
I tried making it fiery:
but for some reason, my smudge tool wouldnt work, so its not that good:

Finally got it work, thx for the hint... Opacity was only 55% on brush, wont attach it to post as it is complete copy of the original one

Hey everyone.... dark your pinwheel turned out great, except the black spaces in between are kinda sudden. But it still looks awesome. Agggh... down to 13 readers.... We went from 61 to 13. >< (I hurt.) We got 200-300ish pageviews overnight according to good-tutorials.... ^^ Still waiting for my other tutorial to get in... dum dee dum. I&#39;m glad people like this though ^^ I have to work on some project thing, I&#39;ll check back later~

When I get to step 6 [about the free transform] I&#39;ve done all the steps correctly [I think&#33;] but it won&#39;t let me transform at all ... and when I go to "Edit" both Free Transform and Transform are transparent. Please help&#33; :]
