You can't live behind a mask - Manipulation speed art
Growing up, listening to rock music and dressing differently to others made me eventually become
almost an outcast to other kids my age listening to mainstream "music" and dressing how everybody
else was. I never was able to fit in and even though I did have friends I felt alone. I began to change.
I wore what everyone else did. Listened to what everyone else listened to even though I hated it. In
other words you could say I put on a mask. A mask to hide the person I really am. And as I've grown
older i've come to learn that you will only ever be truly happy is if you are comfortable in your own
skin. This is what inspired this piece. I hope you like it.
