Nice sometimes the easy things give the best results.

A simple but effective pen tool rendering.

A Nice vid on how to go more advanced

I myself will zoom right in and click (lots and lots) the pen tool myself then once joined right click and click "make selection" and when the window comes up I will make sure that my feather is set to 0.5 to give a not so sharp edge. Then when the image is placed into your BG I will take a soft brush small in size set to 20% opency and blur the foreground edges of my rendered image so that it blends well with the BG.

Hope this helps let me know if you need anymore tips.

I'm seeing a white outline around the girl you rendered, really distracts, hair looks choppy too. Also, she doesn't seem to be affected by the lighting of the background at all, she looks too bright and overexposed for such a pale and dark background, make use of the dodge/burn (on different settings) tool so she blends more with the lighting and so the lightning can feel a lot more natural that way. Kiu, you're doing great.
