Investing in people, or investing in money?

It seems like lately I've been against helping people out when they need it. I'm against donations; I almost feel like I have a hatred for humanity. But, then, I was listening to some music, and it started me thinking. I had a chat with my dad, and it made me think more. So, the question is basically pretty simple.

Is it more important/better for you to invest in money, or scheme ways to get as much money as you can, even if it means overlooking people, or even hurting people, or should you try to help people instead, even if it means a financial hit? Is it more important to invest in people, or to invest in money?

I dont mean to seem shallow - but money is much more important to me (than donating it, etc). Theres enough nice people in the world do donate - and I guess i'm not one of them.

I feel theres limitations at what people should do to get money.

Basicly you are asking.

Well money is EVERYTHING, atleast that was told to me in a young age.
Do I trust people?...To an extint.
Do I trust money?...Yes
Can people help me out?...Only to a point
Can money help me out?...Yes, but it can create more problems for me
Do I have faith in people?...Without a doubt
Do I have faith in money?...No, to much to chance
So overall I belive in:
Trusting money over people, people to a point and money so far.
Also having faith in people and not money.
So people can take you as far as money and money can take you as far as people is my complete point.

You can't get money without trusting people though , it's impossible

You have to go to work and trust that your employer will pay you , or that the bank will cash the cheque and so on....

You can do both at the same time. However it is really depends of if you trust them enough to invest something into them whether it be time, money, whatever but it also depends on where ur personal morals are at as well. I would personally help others financially if i myself had the money but seeings as im in no position to help them i may as well help myself and help others in other ways besides with money. Is this right or wrong?
