Ok I have my vector all finished but I want to move the whole piece to the right of my canvas without moving each frigging shade at a time. is there a way to group all this without flattening the image???

this is probably the noobest question ive ever asked, but its for my worm piece and i need to know lol

Save the final image, Open it in paint, draw a moving box thing around it, and scoot it over. Works for me.

    or..

next to where the eye is to show the layer is visible, there is a blank box

    >click on the base layer of your vector
    >then click in that empty box for all other layers you want to move with it
    >a chain will appear in that box, and for the base, a feather or paintbrush (cant remember which)
    >move
    >unchain them all

I assume, after seeing the solution, that you're doing this in photoshop. If you're working in Illustrator you can simply select all the elements and hit CTRL+G to group them as one unit. And CTRL+SHIFT+G to ungroup them.

Just for future posts you should specify what program you're working with.
