Riddles

This is a game I just recently thought of. I dont know if anyone will like it or not but it can't hurt to try. This game are riddles that I've heard. I will give one riddle, and I will set a limit of how many people have to get it right. As soon as that many people have gotten it right. I'll give out another riddle but the riddles will get more harder. As soon as I run out of riddles someone else will take over. Who? I don't know, I'll wait and see how it goes first.

Example:
*3 people must get this riddle right to hear the next riddle.
1. What is the difference between an indoor cat an a outdoor cat?
3 people answer:
One cat is inside, and the other cat is outside. :P

Cool, 3 people got that right. I apologize for that but the riddle was. How many letters are in the alphabet?

You see the answer is There are 11 letters in "THE ALPHABET".

I make sure that these riddles are solveable for all, well the easy one anyway. :P

2. A farmer and his hired help were carrying grain to the barn. The farmer carried one sack of grain and the hired help carried two sacks. Who carried the heavier load and why?
