Well my mum lived in malaysia when she was younger during the Malayian Incident, as my grandfather was in the RAAF and was based over there. As a result I tend to say Malaya and Malayian instead of the current pronounciation as that is how they said it back then... not sure why.

Got tonnes of interesting slides of stuff from bck then... i think this was the lat e 50's or may have been very ealry 60's.

I don't know anything about Malaysia and I don't ever plan on learning. I'm sure its a great place though, lol.

My mum is in Melbourne, Australia. Though when she was a kid she was all over austrlia and Malaya, I think the base was Kula Lumpa (or however u spell it), but woudl have to check.

She lived in Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, I think thats about it, but quite a lot of houses. So when she married my dad, she lived in the same house for my entire childhood .
