Ok, this is my first tut, tell me what you think.
1. Start a new image on Photoshop Size 400x100
2. Click Filter> Render> Clouds

3. Then click Filter> Sketch> Chrome and keep default settings

4. Now Filter> Artistic> Fresco and keep default settings

5. Then Filter> Render> Fibers and change the settings to: Varience-25, Strength-4.0
And you should end up with something like this

Then if you dont think it looks nice, add some colour or something to jazz it up, personally I like it how it is.

nj. looks like treebark make it lil brownish black =]

It's not a bad tutorial, but you can just render some clouds and then use the fiber filter.... I guess with chrome and fresco you get a little more color variety... o___O;; I don't know where you could use this, but meh..... it's okay
-
You should note that it's CS only
-
yeah, i know it isnt anything special, but i just stumbeled across it and thought it didnt lok bad and i might as well put it up incase anyone found a use for it
-
also, if you then emboss it after you have finished, you get a nice rocky effect
-
thought you would like to know... the previous steps were useless. The last filter does all the effects....
-
rly fast, rly easy, rly basic
hmm my first not full positiv post here
-
so it only works for cs1 or 2?
-
doesnt work on ps7
