when you run the installation exe it should tell you if you made it or not.

well screw that for a few hours at least...i re-did my room today cuz i got a queen size bed..well i didn't actually get it. We paid for the queen size, and i used to have a twin size. The matress they mistakenly gave us was a double size, which is a size above a twin, but is one size below a queen. The frame they gave us was the right one: a queen frame. Needless to say..the reason i got a new bed was for the length...except this one is wider and the same length....PFFT! Anyways..when i was moving stuff out so my mom could run the rugscrubber cuz of all the pop and stuff i've spilled...i had to temporarily move stuff out. One of those things was a large bin full of spare computer parts/important OS/antivirus cds, etc....and in there was the DVD/CD-ROM drive. Currently in this tower is just my burner..which doesn't read dvds. And just my luck....ut2k4 is on DVDs...so i have to wait til morning and then i have to shut this comp down, open the sides, and install the dvd drive..then pray that ut2k4 works. Today absolutely blew..there was a family reunion for 8 hours with people i've never seen before and never will again...and when i woke up at 9 to go buy the mattress i got stung by a bee inside my shoe on my ankle while i was walking into the store. I was stung two other times taht day..ugh

how do you check that again? i want to find out for sure whether or not my sound card is busted.

oh, and that sounds like the worst day ever lol.

holy crap, this thing actually has a 32mb graphics card! my dad said it was 4mb. ive been shortselling my self all this time!

personaly I wouldn't recommend it, while you meet the min specs, your page file is massive and thats going to have a massive degredation of performance.

I'm suprised you are not already suffering with a page file that size.

The CPU isn't that bad, you just realy need more memory. Investing 50 USD in memory and another 50 to 100 USD in a vid card will make the game play in a reasonabe manor i suspect.

lmao a few hours to install a 5gig game rofl, it took me something like 5-10minutes, and then it worked fine, just wait until ut2007 lolz i heard min req for that is a 3.2+cpu 64bit and u need a 128mb min card for it and atleaste 1gig of ram for ut2007 ive heard cuz its supose to be the game of all games.

and omg u have an onboard card to DOH, go buy the new nvide gefore 7 1.3gig vid card i have the early one Gefore Ultra 6800 only 512mb but i can clock to 1.3gigs that runs about 900$ for the card i have and about iunno 2grand atleast for the gefore 7, but ive seen some 3d bench mark for it and it is amazing
