Hey, my computer starts up and says this "cmos/gpnv checksum bad" in the screen that shows how fast your computer and memory with all the master a slave drives.
I heard it was probably my battery so I bought a new one, now I hear that there is a spacific way to put in the battery?? is there something on it that will tell me?
I was looking on google and they said check out the CMOS chip itself does it look like this?

Clearing the CMOS is worth a try also. There should be a jumper on your motherboard to do this
Can anyone explain where a jumper is on a motherboard?
