    The guy's an adult... and in Korea this extent of obsession for video games is not uncommon at all. The only reason he's in the news is because he had a heart attack - the media simply covered the fact that he had been playing there for 50 straight hours because that's unheard of in the US.

    Wow, thats nuts. Didnt that cafe place close? You'd think a place like that has a closing time, or at least a limit on the amount of time you could spend at a computer there. Its sad when people get to that point, its that kind of story that gives games a bad name.

    well in the usa some kid killed someone and killed him self cuz he played halo 2 for 3day and he thought he was spartan lol for real no joke

    In Korea I've heard that many of these places are open 24/7... I was talking to some people on Lineage (back in the day) from Korea who said that they had been in an Internet Cafe for over 2 days :blink:

    lmao 2days of lineage is insane lolz, really makes you wonder i image when halo 2 came out most ppl over there played it for like 30days no wonder the first week all the korean ppl were lvl 50 lol

    yea i no and bungie is wondering why they can reset the stats and some ppl can be lvl 50 within 24hrs and the are legit :| ....

    Korea is more big on MMORPGs... They dominate the GuildWars world untill the late evening, which is probably when they go to sleep lol. But yeah, in the US the highest level character back when I played Lineage was 54-56, while Posideon in Korea was 76 (the highest level character ever).
