The older I get the more I understand myself...and the more I see faults that I thought I didn't have. It's a double edged sword.

i dont really understand it but thats prolly cuz im young and havent had the same expiernces as you in life..also i dont like the white arm maybe make it a lil a grayier than white so u can see it but im not much of a designer yet hopefully will be in th enear future..nj though great idea..shows u put time and effort and it shows youy put ur life in your work which is always good..

great vector amazing idea and i know theres a good meaning behind it so i love it. gj as always adam.
k heres what i see. i know im wrong but the whole point of art is to make people think right.
k i think that since the vector is not showing any skin and just the clothing it has somthing to do with the clothing and hair meaning nothing towards who the person really is, maybe hiding behind the gun. as time fades so does the character but the same idea is always there. and the blood maybe represents the dying or the fading and that your always the same inside. im not sure but good job on making people think.

yea im feelin the same way as you i really dunno the meaning theirs prolly something behind it thats on ur head adam huh?

Of course.
My artwork usually evolves on it's own though. I start with a premise and an idea and things change and by the time it's done I'm trying to figure out the meaning as much as anyone else.
MaDD,
Thanks. I like your interpretation.
Thanks to the both of you. I doubt I'll post an explanation to this one, sometimes your interpretations are much better than my own.
This was done in Illustrator by the way. I dropped it into photoshop to do the border, but I could have done that in illustrator as well.

alright here my interperation..a long shot but still i had to try
maybe u got hurt by some1 or something and that ur fading as a person day after day or month after month so on so on... as in a girl broke ur heart or something way off but yea i had to try
-
nop.. what isee is the first person.. the darkest.. and then the clothing slowly changes, but underneath the person stayes the same..

you can act differently, change how you look, change who you hang out with, act tough, and hurt the ones you love, but you will always be the the same person. that and wounds will be there with you forever.
anyway, i think its cool looking, but the idea and the meaning seems to hold more here then the look of it.

I've been working alot with spray paint lately. that's where the idea came from, somehing to tag on walls, etc. It looks simple, but there's about 2,000 points in it.

thats the thing with vector art, it can look as simple as something made in Paint, but you can spend hours on it.
i also thought of another meaning, when you hurt some one else, your just hurting your self.
