I'm going to say mozart, specifically for his genius. The man would have entire pieces of music in his head, and write them down flawlessly.
While i don't doubt the skills of the other ones, i belive mozart is the best.

I cannot belive you left out Haydn, Chopin and Lizst :P
The greatest composers are very different from each other, they each had their own style and of course were composing in the popular music at the time. You'd also have to keep in mind the genre (concerto, sonata, opera, string quartet)
I admire all composers for their genius (most of all Mozart (Zauberflote & Don Giovanni = brilliant) and Beethoven, composing even whilst in his deafness, and was instrumental in the transition of classical to romance period)
But based on my own opinion, I prefer Chopin since he uses expression over technical mastery.
But if it was on skillls, Beethoven would take the cake, interesting life with revolutionary music.

Should have said, "Who's your favorite composer of all time".
Ah well.
Bach for my tastes. Opera rules.
