Space Art and Signatures in CS2

I am very interested in space type signatures and art in photoshop. I have looked at some tutorials via a good-tutorials search (http://masdsn.proboards67.com/index....ead=1170140878 for example)
but I don't feel that's enough. Do any of you do space stuff? If so, could you maybe give me some helpful tips, tutorials, brushs, patterns, etc?

If ur just starting out in space art try that one you linked first seemed really good to start out with and then keep moving up.

It was good, but it didn't explain how he lit the planets.. and it talked about something that was for "advanced users" that I didn't understand.
Maybe could someone tell me how he lit the plant like that? I tried the lighting effects filter, but it just wasn't as good

Umm.. that's like the exact same tut that I already had. I don't get the lighting thing..
It's ethier they are leaving out how they light the planet, or I am feathering wrong.
