great work! everything blends together bg works with the render, text looks good.
only one thing i dont like is the big whiteish thing to the left of the renders head, not sure
what that is but seems out of place imo
very good i like it a lot like tie said everything blends together
I gotta be honest nightfire i like a lot of your other sigs better, but it definetly isn't bad. I just liek your old style of like scattered debris flying through the sig and stuff.
You mean something like this lol:

lol, nice.
lol some actually liked the scattered one quite a bit more but wanted a few things to be changed so here's that one:

Strengthened the light source and focal point, also reverted back to warmer colors:

hmm. if you added a lot of work to it so please tut ;)
but if you added only few effects, I see only twirl...
dunno.. heh :D this looks for me like only 2 minutes work.. I can really misunderstood the work of sig, but... ech.. nice and simple work looks to me... ;)
lol everytime the sig gets better it hink its v4 that looks good
That depends, most pieces of art that exist aren't necessarily hard
to recreate. For example, your correct on one level that now since I
know what I've done and know where to place my objects, choose
my color, add enhance my effects and increase lighting, it probably
wouldn't take that long.
Though that really shouldn't be what guides you to create your
artwork. Whether it's complex or not your goal should be around
what is needed to create balance.
What takes time, hence why this took me a few hours to create, is
what colors are needed, where to place your render and where your
focal point should be. What makes your artwork good normally
depended on the basics, not the extra added in effects. Your piece
should look good alone, such as my first one, and further perfected
later on.
My first version took the longest, while everyone thinks it's quite
simple it took quite a bit of time to have the colors match and flow
with the render without looking just shoved in. Also deciding what
parts should be sharpened and other blurred to give more depth, and
what parts should be taken out or left. Again this are fundamentals
and don't require the use of many filters and or exotic brushes. I
mean if your a painter this should come naturally, it's all about
basically painted in the bg to match the render.
Another thing, I try to stay away from downloaded brushes, fonts,
and C4Ds. Actually I've never used a C4D, but a few brushes and
fonts I do. Though by avoiding these it really makes it hard to
create tutorials on such pieces of work since it's basically all about
what you think looks best in what place. It's not just some filter
you can add and oh it looks awsome right off the bat :P.
Anyway hope this helps explain the process, and why I normally don't
create tutorials.
Oh btw I didn't not use the filter twirl, I brushed the bg myself, lol
cuz using filters imo is almost like dowloaded brushes XD. Yeah I
know I have a few hang ups :P.
heh.. wow... sorry for that I unrated your work.. you see.. heh, for me it looks little simple, but you see that I am wrong... Really sorry...
Well the 4 version is just awesome man. I really would love to know some of your smugde settings they are nice. Its defentlig better with the smugde. also the text is simple yet beautiful. light source is soft and nice good job.
