Yes i used a tutorial.
I dont see big different. maybe just darker face or something.
Yeah same. and some hilights to the cheeks
TBH i don't see a lot of work here. Yes you got her skin tones pretty nicley in the top one. But really theres a ton more work that should be done here.
Here eyes could be sharpened and dodged/burned to bring them out more. She has too many stray hairs too, you should try to minimize that, and the Umbrella should be darkened a bit.
Also, am i the only person to notice that there is a ring of redness around her hairline/head? needs some cleaning up.
Yeah, I see a red patch in the Hair line..
She has grey hairs in her eyebrows which need sorting. Her smile is ugly i would take one from another photo and clone it on. The big indent on her right(our left) jaw would need to be softened. Her eyes could do eith sharpen as papa said. Her hair looks dry and straw like i would add more tones to counter this.
Tbh there is loads more you can do.
Dang ratchet! I think the smile's fine. I agree with the rest of what's been said. Work on it some more and keep us updated!
I disagree in that as well. If you were to show that to a client they would make you do more. I'm not dissing your work, you nailed the skin tones.
However you simply CANNOT have hair frizzed about like that.
I don't know what experience you have in retouching, as this being off of a tutorial; However I do not appreciate being told i have no clue on it.
That said, next time if you don't want actual CnC don't ask for it.
Even in the respect that if i did have no clue on retouch, I still wouldn't flat out say to anybody, you know nothign about retouch, when they are TRYING TO HELP YOU. BY posting it up you asked for cnc and i gave it to you. If you don't like it don't listen to it. Thats the beauty of a forum, if you don't like something then you can ignore it as easy as clicking a button.
