Hmmm you might want to work on the flow since the effects are all over the place. Idk something about the lighting doesn't click with me, it's in the correct position and everything but its a bit blegh to me. The text doesnt really work with me either. Other than that kiu.
i stroke ugly places..u need read tuts http://img189.imageshack.us/img189/2294/bx1lw.png
imo you could have cut off the legs and made it a horizontal sig instead. I on the other hand do the the font. I also think you should bring up the hand more and shadow out his shoulders a little as well :)
looks like it's getting there tho :)
Thanks guys, ill try these out later if i have time (probably in class today)
the criticism really helps, i iz teh nub :? :D
Kiwi, your right on the bottom bit, but don't dis the normal filter gallery.
Also, where did you sudenley apear from over the last 2 days? (in a slight jokey way)
I dunno. I just wasn't interested before.
Fair enough, fair enough
lmao, excuse dispeller, he is foreign... lol, he isnt trying to be mean.
I agree with what is sad above. The lower half and where dispeller has selected are locations that need to be work on. You need to broaden your horizons with effects. All i see is smudging, blurring, and filters. Work more with different forms of smudging and different blending options for those layer.
Example: Smudge a layer, set it to Color Dodge (erase bad parts). Next layer, smudge and set to Vivid Light (erase bad parts).
This is an older technique, a lot of sig makers use it. It creates very nice contrast and smudge effects.
Next i would suggest some c4ds, I can think of 5 different c4ds that would fit this tag as we speak. I would suggest downloading some more c4ds and downloading the GFX Void Resource packs (there are 5 of them, they are filled with c4ds and great materials for design).
Next you need some more contrast. Adjustment layers will do wonders for this sig. Contrast is what makes your sig pop. It will create a bit more depth and lighting in your tag.
Adjustment layers like Hue/Saturation and Photo Filters could really be used on this tag to help with you colors and the strength of these colors.
Keep up the work, i really want to see you do more with this sig.
*Salutes* Yes sir, thank you for all the help!
This is my first vert sig, so i had no clue how to fill in that space at the bottom.. :/
ill try remaking it into a reg using all the suggestions :)
Ok, so i know this isnt much better, but how about now?

You blended it better in the vert
on the vert id just erase some of u smudging or smooth out with more smudging in a few selective areas so its not all like it is now and it make it so much more clear , gl and kiu
I actually like this one a lot better but, yeah blend out the background a bit more and the hero would look more poppin ;)
like clippin for the text but it looks like you put it on colour dodge or something >.<I think if it's ganna be that far away from the render it shouldn't be so bright, or bring it closer to render and keep the clipping bright but lower opacity of the text ( not the clip) :)
lol listen to me xD Still lookin good ^^
ya, i was just messing around with the text, it didnt really matter cuz i had messed up with the background. and i agree, i should have made it blend more, but i cant seem to blend AND add C4D's. its like a personal block, i just cant seem to do both xD
I think ill go try some tutorials untill i can get a better hang of it, then come back to this :)
