Kritez: Green Lantern

Something a bit different... more topaz than my usual... thats what yall like right????

hmmm it looks overdone to me. there is to much going on wich makes the focal disapear into the effects. even the bg looks a bit to crowded imo. the execution of it all is the Kritez standard witch is top as usual! text fits nice, but is difficult to read.

the effects are very nice , as usual
the body and the fist look really awkward to me
i'm not sure if it's the topaz or it was just the render
but overall it's a nice sig

for me it is a bit chaotic but I like the effects ;)

lol no. imo topaz is starting to be overused on this site and is being misunderstood on how it should be used.
this sig would be so much nicer without imo.
it seems too busy and crowded and text is hard to read.
anyways its nice but it has several flaws. kiu though.

yes DR i know.. i kinda made this topaz to spite the amount of topaz being used on the site.

There is too much topaz, which I don't know why people like.

Your focal, Green Lantern looks a bit distorted and I'm not a fan of the effects.

yes! and it is monotone (although it's green :D), even the txt is green :D it's cool that it's green but still it's not good for sig if it's monotone...

LS is just ok i don't fill it's on the right spot but OK...

and once more YES it's too overtopazed...

I fill it's kinda overcontrased on some spots.... txt is hmmm good for start but needs some work + it's to big

Depth is OK...
there is some nice flow but your focal is a bit to big also, + don't forget rules of third, your focal is centered wich is also (-) for the wow fill of tag .... and I would recomande you to make less width tags (have on mind that standard size is 385X150 so don't do spme pices that aren't in same proportion at all (I'm not saying u have to make them exactly propotional to that size but it cant be 385X150 is nerly = 400x285 :D) I hope u understand what i want to say) :)

But it's green so COOL...
It's Nice pice but you could re-open PSD and try to fix some things :)

the topaz isn't the problem here :)
the render looks a bit washed out and the color doesn't seem to go well with each other.
effects look chaotic but the lighting is good :)
the BG is way too blurry for me. maybe reduce the blurriness and add more effects to it like a bubble c4d.

I agree with shultz on how the render looks washed out, but i love the effects you created, not sure why everyone hates topaz but looks like you used it the right way. awesome tag kritez :D

UGHH! i just cant make you people happy... lol.
If i dont use as much topaz as you want... you say its not clean.
If i use a bunch of topaz... you say its overtopazed.....

lol, its ok though, the majority of people here know that i dont use topaz in large quantities. :)

There is lime green, forest green, white, black, orange, brown and some beige... not to mention strong contrasts. I dont see monotonicity being a problem here.

The rule of thirds is followed in this tag right down to the text. Also the rule of thirds is a suggestion, not a necessity. Sometimes sigs look better when you break those rules.

There is no "standard" for a tags dimensions. 385x150 is actually considered a "medium-small" size tag. Increasing the size of a tag gives more room for your tag to breathe: creating more area for effects and a larger canvas for your background. This is why the majority of my tags are over 400x200.

This was really a through away This was really a through away tag for the battle vs the Graphic Gunslingers. I didnt think it was nearly as good as my standard. So its great to have some responses to help work on this tag. Thanks, keep it coming!
