Carcass (even though I know you have all that already)
    Goatwhore (1 album)
    Kataklysm
Necrophagist (a bunch of random stuff, no full albums)
    Vader (1 album)

I'm interested in Goatwhore, Kataklysm, Necrophagist, and Vader, but especially the Goatwhore. I've been reccomended them a lot and haven't had a chance to check them out.

I already have all of Carcass's albums, all of Amon Amarth's albums, and I'm not particularly fond of Cannibal Corpse.

Children of Bodom's older material is Melodic Death Metal and thier newer is mallcore. Most Death Metal fans dislike Bodom, and I personally won't listen to anything after their first CD - Something Wild.

^mallcore is a slang term created to describe nu-metal, which is probably the most hated genre of metal ever.
I used to like it. Not so much anymore.

Unfortunately, my last.fm profile is filled with that shit.

anyway, PE, I'll get those stuff up ASAP.

EDIT: I'm putting them on uploading.com, and it's being surprisingly slower than it should.
Sorry man, but I won't be able to get it up until tommorow. Maybe even the next day if its really really slow.

EDIT AGAIN: Fuck, uploading is being a bitch and won't upload them properly. I'll have to add you on msn or something and send them to you.

Damn people categorise metal too much. With no other genre are there 600 sub genres, with 600 sub genres for each of those sub genres.. and 600 sub genres for each of those sub genres sub genres... etc etc.. you get my point, even if it is a little exadurated.

It's because metal is such a vastly broad genre of music. You could put 5 "metalheads" in a room together and have them like almost none of the same bands.

Its probably because metal fans are most devoted to their genre, and most passionate about the music they listen to... sure you could find 600 sub genres from like disco or pop or indie or something if the fans took the time to think about the music enough. And yes PE is definately right... I dont think metallica is even proper metal, but to some its the best metal band ever.

I think mallcore used to be called metalcore, until the powers that be decided it didn't deserve to have the word "metal" in it's name.
