Perhaps he's better at making Terragen landscapes than other things?

Especially by what he posted in digital art

However for the record he has contacted both me and shadow warrior about making sigs for him. Just as a friendly thing I am assuming

don't get me wrong, I'm positive he didn't make that. "it'd be very unlikely" hardly shows doubt. and besides, I was saying it's unlikely that he'd be making only sigs, but I'm certain he didn't make that background. I see where you're coming from, but it's just obvious that he didn't do everything there. take a look at dale's post earlier; shows he doesn't make everything in his sigs, yet he told ben he made everything in that sig. so he does lie about his sigs, we know that much. then, rob's proof suffices about the supposed terragen one.

First off, if he can paint trees and clouds like that, then it would show in the rest of his work. Second off, I know my terragen. Unless you were extremely good, you wouldnt be able to produce those water settings, and there is a slight overhang on the cliff; a feature only in the tg2tp, which he will not have used, and would have specified. Plus, its too good for him, basically.

it'd be fine if he said it was a photo, but it'd take a pro to use terragen + photoshop to do that. and then not even post the original image of it, which is a masterpiece compared to that sig.

You're not really getting this though. Making that would take EXTREME talent in terragen. He would be better at other things if he could do that in terragen.
And what did he post in digi art that was so good?

i just cant get my head arround why someone would steal work and pretend its their own. what would be the motivation in doing this?

Okay, your looking at both sides, that's good.
Right now there isn't anything that could make you be certain he didn't make it, though there does seem to be some confusion about him not making everything in his signatures as he claimed.

That hasen't exactly been given a reason for either.
It hasen't been that long, if he responds hopefully this will be cleared up.
If he doesnt, then there is no proof that he did or did not.

I know the talent it would take. And I also know that what you are saying is truly a very one-sided look at it.
Most people who have such experience with a program like Terragen usually have a bit of experience in other such programs.
Most, not all.

Nobody knows if he made this or if he didn't.
I have not claimed I have. You, however, did and still are.
