is this strict paint, or 3d imaging paintover, or manip? im guessing it's the second.
the colors are great and vibrant where they should be...but some blurs are seemingly out of place and some shadows appear to be randomly cast. composition is too right-heavy also, imo. overall though i like it, really like the ambiance you've achieved.

I don't really like how the water that is closer, is all smooth and then the water farther out has more detail. It just doesn't seem to fit together.
But you did a great job on everything else.

This is a manip, 100% photoshop, made all of this from a stock. So about the shadows there is no random there, they are excactly as they were in the stock. The planet is also 100% photoshop/stock made.

Thx for all the great comments guys

i see. im pretty certain the random shadows im talking about are brushed, since i see brushstrokes. i meant specifically the shadow cast between the rocks onto the sand, where the rocks open towards the left.

not the rocks, i meant the water apparently. i thought it was sand but upon closer inspection i realized it's actually water. i meant the water in the front actually, it looks like there's shadow that the rocks are casting onto it.

i didn't mean the shadows on the rocks were wrong.
