Logo Concept 1

A future project for a game. The game Echo Company.
First of 5 Logo concepts.

That's nice for your first concept. There's something off, but I just don't know what it is. Anyway, I can't wait to see the rest of them.

For a logo I would suggest against using any "fancy" effects. Make a simple logo, with as few words as possible. Logos are designed for easy recognition of a company from just a quick glance.
I would say try using something to represent an echo. Like sound waves bouncing off a wall.
Also, a flat color, or simple gradient might be a better choice than making it look chromed.

Try a guy, calling into a cave.
Easy.
See if you can try and vector something like that, really simple!

But, this is for a game. :|
An FPS.
Explain the CoD logo for me then? :L

Is the Echo the company name? Or a game name?
Call of Duty doesn't really use its logo. When you see CALLofDUTY on the game cover, that is just a title of it. Their actual logo has that in it, but it is a army patch, which is recognizable. So even the game itself has a logo for easy recognition.

Echo is phonetics for E. U.S. military lingo, Echo Company would mean E Company as Alpha would be A, Bravo B, etc.

It looks like a porn company's logo
