Default Mailing list / Coming Soon page

More projects extending from the clan site reformation. I put up a coming soon page that allows users to submit their email to a mailing list, and includes ways to connect to the clan via xfire or TS. There isn't much to see or do, but it serves its purpose.

If there is anyone interested in learning how to build a mailing list (PHP, mySQL), I can run through the backend pretty quickly.

I like the overall design, however i find one thing i would probably have liked to see differently.
It might be me and my monitor but at the bottom left hand corner it looks like the text is a bit cut off. All i can read is:
"o launch from the website. yadda yadda yadaa.
quired to launch the chat server. yadda yda dyaa"

I think the text just got messed and slightly moved over while you were making an adjustment, or my monitor is F***ed. Just thought i'd let you know.

otherwise i think you did good. Simple, good looking, cool. I like it good job dude.

It's an absolutely positioned layout. I can't believe your monitor is that small :P Try zooming out a little bit, and it should appear correctly.

Looks good. Those Join Us in Game and Chat With Us icons are just begging to be colored on mouse rollover. I'd possibly change the mouse icon as well, I couldn't figure out what it was at first. I thought it was a hat. Overall design is good.

Thanks. I'll give em a hover glow or something I'm also backing out on the absolutely positioned approach. It's not going over as well as I had hoped.

It's tough to do absolute positioning when you're working on the web. It's kind of an outdated concept that only really functions on internal networks where you know exactly what browsers, OS's, and resolutions you're working with. Or when you're doing a small top left anchored design...
