    Default Astralis (Space Art)

Resized, click the picture for full size.

Information; I focused on details this time.

I could have added more, there's really no end there. But I thought I'd call it a finish,
after all I like that "a tiny bit unfinished look", gives the art a certain charm.

Keep in mind that it looks TERRIBLE resized, please, watch it in its real size
by clicking on the picture above.

    Critiques are welcome, enjoy.

Epic setting Great demonstration of your talent! A name I remember from a long time ago as well

It has a hand painted quality to it, as far as digital art can...

If I had one critique, it would be that it doesn't give way to the vastness of space to me, somehow...! It could be something to do with having no foreground, and little background, but such a well created mid. But that may have been intentional, so I still like it

It was a theme that was chosen as a requested "Art Piece" for the artgroup The Luminarium.

It did not take much more time compared to my earlier pieces. I guess I've have somewhat found my "red line"
that I like follow - living by a routine as you may call it. What's next to this is finding those sliproads connected
to that line to stray away from my "mainstream" concept. I made some progress here I think, it's the first planet
    I destroy after all.

I recall you commented on my earlier work as well. And I'm glad you like this! And you
are right, I have that problem usually, I bet it has to do with the light. I try to give
my space scenes a sense of depth - but in the end, it's hard. So no, it wasn't intentional, really.
