Designers are designers. They make things that appeal. If you are happy with what you are making then there's no problem. We're just trying to help you improve. I mean this in the nicest way possible but there's nothing that separates you from anyone else. I'm the same way. We all want to achieve a style that is completely our own. We're just trying to get you good enough to do that.

i hear that, perhaps im just too old that i just want to do things my way lol. Its not even about the cnc, its not about what others want etc, what its about is misunderstanding, miscommunication, and and lack of understanding (atleast on my part) but i think my embarassment has had enough attention, thanks everyone

not to sound like an ass or nothing.. but you barely joined this site you got less then 100 posts. usually most of the people on this site dont even critique unless its a well known member. you can see like the more veteran members dont even post their own sigs for critique. instead of postin like a bunch of sigs a day you should just make one and concentrate on it. use multiple tuts techniques instead of following the tuts. the better the sig the more critique you get. but if you keep postin the same style there is nothin to critique every critique is the same. theres not much for people to say. try to be creative and youll get more critique rather then 5 sigs a day and expect 10 comments that are helpful.

yeah you know, i should just work on one sig having absolutely no idea what works with it or not. Not all of my sigs are the same style plus each one has something that i thought was fixed from the last one, essentially stepping up to where i need to be, this is where to problem came about, the fact that not enough was getting fixed and yeah your right after a while no one responds cause its the same, this is how i know i hit a brick wall. How i knew i needed help. This happend about 4 days ago really and my efforts to find out what more i can do was unfruitful so I tried to do things on my own and failed miserably. I know i just joined and have less then 100 posts but i thought this site was also for helping people grow their skills, not for elitists who dont feel like a noob is worth their time, especially when the noob needs help.

go read tuts and experiment. your sigs all use the same techniques. try different lighting types. try splatter brush. try filters. if your only gonna try to fix one thing on each tag then your gettin nowhere. like you stated before nobody seems to comment your things cause nobody wants to nickpick it. tbh there are lots of sigs on this site that can use lots of critique but nobody wants to say nothin cause it comes off rude. this site is not for the elite and nobody said it was. the veteran members on thiss site have seen the same types of sig and just stop critiquein cause the critique seems to repeat itself. nobody has time either to tell that specific person a whole paragraph of critique because they havta help other people. if you want help PM people make friends with people. if you want to ask people i suggest looking at sigs that you dont know how to do and ask the person how they did it specifficaly. or go download PSD and learn yourself. many people on this site learned how to do there stuff without askin. examples-schultz comes up with new stuff all the time that nobody does on this site. Lith has his own style and color combos that nobody suggested.etc...

You have to realize that not everyone is going to critique your work... not everyone wants to. A lot of the reason people get CNC on this site is because they take the time to make friends and become a part of the society. Once your involved you wont leave, and thats when you really start to develop into your own artist.
Most everyone on this site does this as a hobby, its something we all connect on. I remember when I first joined the void... i wasn't the greatest sig maker... but I was very active and made friends. The more friends you make the more willing people will be to help you with you work, and give you CNC. After a while I got to be considered one of the "better" (i use the term loosely...lol) sig makers on the site.
There are always gonna be people better than you, there are plenty of designers that I feel are better than me on this site. But the key is... to really get involved. I noticed that you said that this sort of thing has happened on countless sites. I think thats a problem in itself. Seems to me like your not taking enough time on a site for people to get to know you and want to see your work.
You only have like 100 posts... if you noticed... most of the people that have been here a while and have 800+ posts... are the ones that get the most critiques.
Just some things to think about.

well uhh, peace?
gl
...joining 2 communities is also an option...lol
...and just saying you seemed to have gotten a bunch of CnC from the sigs you posted, most that you have posted have gotten at least 5 replies, so this whole thread doesnt make sense.

In all deepest reality, we may only imagine the days past us, knowing that anything and all happens; and time will never be written until the happening... The future is 'eXcellence'.
