WOW SHIV!!! thanks for the share, I had tried it earlier with a different stock and it totally sucked so I didn't bother to show my result..

I thought I'd give it a second go and it's fackin beautiful

I wanted to give this sig as a gift to checkers but I danno if I could let this go now xD

My Outcome


I used different photo filters ofc cause it's a different stock as well as I used different c4d's and dropped your last step of dodge/burn and made a vanish on my boarder, But this is the outcome

hey shiv. i tried ur tut but for some reason clipping masks with splatter brushes just like dont work for me. i need to figure out wut im doing wrong. but how do i get that menu with the smudging brush? i dont understand how to get that menu. i m using photoshop cs3 extended btw

Make sure the applied image is on top and the splatter are on the bottom, them right click on the top layer and click "Create Clipping Mask." To get the menu with the smudge brush just go to Window>Brushes then select your brush and alters its settings.
