What did you use Pen tool?

yeah, its a Vexel - which is a mix of the pentool and the paintbrush, so I used the pentool to either create the shapes themselves, or used it to make the outlines of the shapes and then use the select tool to create a boundary for where I would using my mouse to colour in.. you can see this particularly on the Rims, as I still believe that this is the hardest part to do accurately.

I want to try the brush method.
I'm working on a new vexel also, crap loads of detail.

Yeah, I found the gradients to be too restrictive and had to hand paint to achieve certain effects.

Ooh, any previews? is it a vehicle of some sort?
