    dont take this the wrong way, but this sounds very generic. not sure if thats the correct word to use. what i mean is, to make it big in music you have to be different. as in the way you dress and how you sound.
    Look at lady gaga, how she dresses. Lil Wayne, how he sounds. Eminem, white Rapper (not racist, just the truth.) You have to set yourself apart from everyone else to get noticed.

    I like the flyer, although I think it would have been a bit more interesting to look at if the concepts were a bit more connected. The colored squares in the background could have been used a bit more relatively with the typo, I think. The event details are a bit too close to the header, it wouldn't hurt to give it some breathing room and space them apart, that would give both pieces of typo a chance to share the focal point.
